The Baloian Family has been in the produce business since 1923. Charles Baloian started the company's first enterprise. He opened Charles Baloian Company, Inc., which was a full-service produce business. In 1945, Charles' two sons, James and Edward returned to Fresno after serving their country in the World War II, joining Charles as partners in Charles Baloian Company, Inc.

In 1965, Charles and his sons formed Pam Pak Distributors, Inc., which is Baloian Packing's current #1 label, to package and market fresh vegetables from a large number of local growers who supplied Charles Baloian Company, Inc.. Edward took on the responsibility of managing the operations at Pam Pak Distributors, Inc.. In an effort to increase their annual business and to supply the rising local demand for their product, Pam Pak Distributors, Inc. began its own farming operations in 1968.

In 1985, Edward's brother, James Baloian, expressed his wishes to retire from Pam Pak Distributors, Inc. On September 1st, 1985, Edward and his son, Timothy Baloian, organized Baloian Packing Company, Inc. in an effort to continue the operations of Pam Pak Dist. Edward was elected Chairman of the Board and Timothy was elected President.

Edward Baloian brings over 60 years of farming and marketing skill to the company, while Timothy Baloian has been involved in sales and management for nearly 40 years. To this day, Baloian Packing Company, Inc. is headquartered in Fresno, CA.
